Total Time: 2 Hours

Recipe Yields 4 Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 19 oz. package of brats

  • ¼ cup diced jalapeño

  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced

  • Stanley's Pitmaster Spike or Panther City All Purpose Beef Rub

  • Zavala's Sloppy Juan Sauce

  • Garlic Aioli (optional)

Smoked Jalapeno Brat Burgers

  1. Remove casing from brats. In a bowl add the brat meat and jalapeño. Mix well.

  2. Shape into burger patties, season with Stanley's Pitmaster Spike or Panther City All Purpose beef rub (or whatever your fave bbq seasoning is)

  3. Place in smoker at 225 for about 1 hr, finish over direct flame to get a nice char.

  4. While burgers are smoking, caramelize sliced onion over low-medium heat.

  5. Build your burger: We like to toast our buns, then we add the brat burger patty, caramelized onions, drizzle on Sloppy Juan Sauce (or your fave bbq sauce) and garlic aioli. Enjoy!
