THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

  • How can I request a refund/cancel my order?
    Please request through our contact form (select "Cancellation or Return Request" from drop-down menu in the form) and we will reply within 1-2 business days with a reply and refund processed. We cannot refund products that have been opened. For the Backyard BBQ Box, you will have an opportunity to cancel your membership at anytime to stop payments. For the 3-month or Annual memberships, we will give you a 3-day notification that your plan is about to auto-renew.
  • What are my shipping options?
    We have two modes of shipping -- the Shop and the Backyard BBQ Box: The Shop: we ship in 1-2 days of the order being placed and use standard 3-5 day shipping. Costs are variable based on weight Backyard BBQ Box: order ship first week of every month and we use standard 3-5 days shipping. Shipping is included in your membership. As BBQ Distro grows, we may add in additional shipping capabilities and will let you know!
  • Are items different in the Shop vs. The physical store (Speakeasy)?
    No. All items available in the site flow from the Speakeasy inventory.
  • What's the difference between the three memberships?
    The main difference are 1/ payment setups, 2/ monthly price, and 3/ additional perks (Annual "Founders Club" Members only): Payment Setups: we charge Monthly, every three months or Annually depending on which membership plan you select. for 3-month and Annual plans you'll be notified 3 days before auto-renewal. Monthly Price: we price goes down the longer of a duration you invest in (monthly -- $55, 3-month -- $53, Annual -- $50). Additional Perks: on occasion we'll add surprise goodies each month. Annual (Founder Club) Members will get additional deals from our Partners, additional swag, and access beyond the monthly videos and Live Q&As. Need more?   • When will I get my box every month?
    We ship the first week of every month with 3-5 day shipping, so you will receive every month before the 10th. Our hope is that you dive right in and follow along with the featured cooking videos we'll post in the first week of the month. In the back half of the month we'll have a live Q&A setup with the feature Pitmaster of the sauces and/or rubs features so you can bounce questions off about what you've been working on to hone your craft. Or, honestly any random question you have! NOTE: when you sign up, you will get your first box the following month. For example, if you order July 1st/15th/29th you will be added to the boxes that ship out the first week of August for the August box. We do this best accommodate our Partners that are providing product in advance. Items that are featured the month you sign up or even the months before will always be available in The Shop. And of course, you can always contact us with questions.
  • Can I choose what's in the monthly box I receive?
    No, we curate and manage a calendar of Top 50 BBQ brands monthly that include pre-recorded content and also in-month Q&A sessions. For additional rubs you'd like to purchase outside of the monthly box membership, visit the Shop!
  • Can I use a Gift Card for the Backyard BBQ Box?
    No! You can use it in the online Shop and in-person at the Speakeasy. For the Backyard BBQ Box, we need a credit card processed as we setup reoccurring payments across the three plans (monthly, 3-months, annual). Members can cancel at anytime.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • What are my shipping options?
    For now we offer 3-5 shipping for all items in the shop. It takes us 1-2 days to process your order and ship out.
  • What is you're out of stock?
    We'll do our best to not sell out, but sometimes these items fly off the shelf. We will do our best to keep stocked, and will notify customer when we replenish. Sign Up at the bottom of our home page to get updates!
  • Are the in-store products any different than the online Shop?
    No! The inventory we provide online is representative of what we have on-hand in the store as well and is updates in real time.
  • What are your hours and location for the physical store? (aka the Speakeasy!)
