Ingredients
1 rack of spare ribs
Butter
Buns
Onions
Pickles
Instructions
Season ribs liberally with pork rub and let set for 15-20 min
Smoke ribs at 250 degrees for 2.5 hours
Wrap ribs in foil with butter and sloppy Juan sauce and put back on smoker for another 2 hours You want them more tender than you’d normally cook them so you can pull the bones out
Create a foil boat and sprinkle more rub and cover with sloppy Juan sauce and put back on smoker for 15 minutes
Pull the bones out and place on toasted bun with caramelized onion and pickles and more Sloppy Juan sauce (regular or sweet -- your call!)
