Honey Apple Cole Slaw, a Backyard Grilling Recipe from Dr. BBQ!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of shredded Cole slaw cabbage

  • 1 pink lady apple

  • 1 Granny Smith apple

  • 1 shredded carrot

  • Smokey Joe’s All Purpose rub to taste


For the dressing:

  • 3/4 cup mayo (more or less depending on how you want the consistency)

  • 3 tbsp Dijon

  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • Salt and pepper


Instructions

  1. Julienne the apples and shred the carrot and add to slaw mix, season with Smokey Joe's All Purpose Rub

  2. Mix the ingredients for the dressing and mix well. Pour over the slaw mix and mix with hand until it’s all incorporated

  3. Let slaw sit in fridge for at least an hour. Overnight is best.

  4. Enjoy! Goes great on a pulled pork sandwich.
